10:29 pm	Brewed City Photo by McMoosie Yup, I was at it again this past weekend: derby in Milwaukee. The back held up okay, though my hips were a bit sore and tight the whole time. We won, 198-65. 1:24 pm	Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire My body feels like most of my weekend was kinda like this, but in reality this was just few hours on Saturday night. Icy roads are scary. (I should note that I was not in the burning truck; I was a passenger in the Element in the foreground. Also, everyone involved in this accident thankfully escaped without injury.) 12:08 am	Things and Stuff and Beyond and More On the field at Soldier Originally uploaded by -kj on 12th October, 2010. Playing Field Level: The above picture is from this past weekend in Chicago. Good times were had. Feet are still sore. Fortuitous Timing: Went looking today to compare flying vs driving for the WFTDA Championships in Chicago in November. Decided to look at airfares for Fiesta in Tucson while I was there, and saw a great fare on a direct flight. Booked it. Boo-yah. Not much more to share. Carry on. (Comment on this)

1:39 am	Kreuz Market: "The Church of Meat" Kreuz Market: "The Church of Meat" Originally uploaded by -kj on 22nd September, 2010. Finally offloaded my pictures from my Texas/Green Bay trip. I did not take enough pictures, and certainly not enough quality pictures. I generally enjoyed the trip: Austin was decent, Houston was just awful, and I had a terrific time visiting darke, chibi_masshuu, and jaybear in San Antonio. I was double-plus happy to finally meet adminbear! While there, we visited "The Church of Meat": Kreuz Market. The above picture is my response to darke's picture of me. Then there was Green Bay for Thunda on the Tundra, the WFTDA North Central Regional tournament. This was three days of watching roller derby and partying; yeah, I think I was okay with that. :) It was especially exciting because the Minnesota RollerGirls All-Stars pulled two major upsets and came in second! This qualifies them for the WFTDA Championship Tournament, which happens in Chicago in early November. I was already thinking of going; this is an added bonus! I then came back home and got sick for almost a week; I think I'm finally nearly starting to get over that. Ugh. (Comment on this)
